Stewardship Ministry
The Stewardship Ministry helps us grow in our relationship with God by: 1) Inviting us to recognize and give thanks for the time, abilities, finances, resources, and world God has entrusted to us; and 2) Inviting us to care for and generously share what we have for God’s work in the world. The Stewardship Ministry fulfills this incredible calling by: 1) Telling stories about what God is doing in our church, synod, denomination, and world; 2) Teaching our congregation about God’s generosity and biblical giving; 3) Asking people to become part of a generous lifestyle; and 4) Thanking God and thanking one another. Our goal is to give 10% and beyond of all we have – time, abilities, finances, and resources. If you have skills and/or a passion for recognizing gifts and assets, giving thanks, telling stories, building excitement, fostering environmental and economic justice, managing finances, or fundraising, this would be a great ministry for you to be involved in.
