Northern Illinois Synod
Due to its enormous size, the ELCA is divided into 9 regions and 65 synods. Cross of Glory is part of the Northern Illinois Synod (NIS). The NIS empowers, supports, and serves its 161 congregations and more than 101,000 members. Together we work to Make Christ Known in our congregations, our communities, our nation, and throughout the world.
