Dear Friends in Christ,
Cross of Glory needs your help. Even as the world digs out of a deep recession and starts a gradual recovery, unemployment remains very high and consumer confidence remains extremely low. Financial advisers tell us that these are lagging indicators that do not recover until months after the economy improves.
Unfortunately, this economic fear and uncertainty is having a crippling effect on Cross of Glory. Donations have been down considerably this year and we are now faced with some difficult decisions. Currently we face the decision on whether to be late with paying our mortgage or late in paying our staff. We don’t have the funds to do both! We are seeking some temporary relief from our mortgage holder but, ultimately, the mortgage is a legal commitment we must fulfill! We ask that you view this six minute video presentation and then prayerfully consider whether you can increase your support for Cross of Glory with a special gift and/or an increase in your regular giving.
