21st, we concluded our series on living as God’s steward in today’s world with a look at how we steward the time that God has entrusted to us. In Sunday School, the kids will celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost. And we’ll be taking a noisy offering for the refugees and migrants in our communities.

Help Collect Health Care Items

New Prayer Box
Check out the new prayer box near our little library at COG. Thanks to Jeff Wandersen and Bill Bavirsha for getting the box and putting it up. This is a great way for anyone from the community to share prayer concerns with us, knowing that our congregation and prayer team will be praying for them.

Canal Days Parade on Friday, June 9, 2023
Canal Days is coming up fast. We need volunteers to walk in the Canal Days’ parade on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 6:00 pm. We’ll be handing out info for our God’s Superheroes VBS.
June is Pride Month
We’re celebrating in lots of ways. First, we’ll be collecting items for Guardian Angels health kits for LGBTQIA+ sexual assault survivors. Second, look for our flags and signs, outside the building soon, to encourage our LGBTQIA+ siblings. And, as we do every year, we’ll be marching in Chicago’s Pride parade on Sunday, June 25.
Military Care Packages – May 2023
We packed food items on Sunday, May 21, 2023 for military care packages to support deployed personnel. We need some additional hygiene items to round out this shipment. This is a wonderful opportunity to help those serving our country.
Superheroes VBS 2023 – July 10-13
Register now for Vacation Bible School held this July (10th to 13th). We’ll look at some movie and bible superheroes in a fun week of learning, crafts and games. Volunteers Needed!
