2017 Annual Meeting Review

The Cross of Glory 2017 Annual Meeting was held on Sunday, February 11, 2018. We had a Mardi Gras themed brunch. Four Council members were elected: Bill Bavirsha – Facilities (second term), Samantha Barczi – Discipleship, Allen Kirkland – Outreach, Dennis Tanrikulu – Worship, The 2018 budget was approved.

The ELCA has just released their Draft Social Statement on Women and Justice. You can read the draft and respond. Just as talking together has helped the task force to think about these issues, they encourage you to get together with a group. You also may choose to attend a hearing in your synod. The comment period is open through Sept. 30, 2018.
