Fairmont Ministry Update

Recently, we dropped off 48 cans of spray deodorant and 39 sports bras, which were all given to the gym teachers. We got the following thank-you note…

Dear Pastor O’Brien and Members of Cross of Glory Church,

Thank you for donating the anti-perspirant deodorant and undergarments for our female students. We are truly grateful for this donation. Your generosity reminds us that we are in this community together. This donation will help our student’s overall health and wellness.

In the wise words of Helen Keller, “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.”

We are now collecting school supplies for the teachers and students at Fairmont School. Many times, teachers spend their own money to purchase supplies for their students. We can help them by filling the donation bin in the Welcome Room with the following…

  • #2 Pencils
  • Facial Tissue
  • Scissors
  • Clorox Wipes
  • Colored Construction Paper

Note: If you still have deodorant and/or sports bras to donate, please bring them in.

Fairmont Ministry – Collecting Spray Deodorant and Bras

We are collecting items for the kids at Fairmont School in Lockport. We’ve started with something practical by collecting two things for the middle school kids:

  • Cans of Aerosol Spray Deodorant (It needs to be aerosol so that it can be shared)
  • Sports Bras – single color white or blue (nothing fancy)

A bin for collecting the items is in the Welcome Room.
