Well, by now most of you know that Will County is now subject to COVID mitigation restrictions, including a cap of 10 people for indoor gatherings. And that means we will delay the start of indoor worship at COG for the time being.
it’s supposed to be pretty windy tonight and the blow-up screen just doesn’t work with any wind. So tonight’s showing of Hocus Pocus is cancelled.
Pat McIntosh Oles teaches us how to sign phrases like “I missed you”, “I love you”, part of the liturgy — “The Lord be with you”, and “Amen”. Watch this to help us start some new traditions and learn to communicate in some new ways – both now and when we get to worship indoors together.
We can’t do our free family festival this year, but we can continue one really fun part of our festival — pumpkin painting!! In less than two weeks, on Saturday, October 3, from 10 to 12, the entire community is invited to paint pumpkins at Cross of Glory. We’ll have paints, brushes and pumpkins, and…
Women’s Event – Tuesday, September 8th Watch award-winning actress and scholar Leslie Goddard portray Eleanor Roosevelt. We’ll gather at 6 for refreshments; presentation starts at 6:30.
