Our Military Ministry was started in December of 2022 to send food and comfort items for military personnel deployed during the holiday season. Because the need persists all year, we are continuing to collect and distribute food and personal items.
We packed food items on Sunday, May 21, 2023 for military care packages to support deployed personnel. We need some additional hygiene items to round out this shipment. This is a wonderful opportunity to help those serving our country.
Our 2nd shipment (22 boxes) was packed up on 2/12/2023. Thank You to the Pfc. Michael C. Olivieri Memorial American Legion Post 2011 (located in Marian Village) for their generous donation of $500 toward the cost of shipping the boxes. Please keep your donations coming so we can continue this ministry!
We have a wonderful opportunity to help those in the military. We collected items on Sunday, 12/11/2022, for 24 care boxes to support the men and women who are deployed over the holidays. And we’ll continue to support them with additional care boxes over the next few months.
