PFLAG Chapter – Meeting Monthly

Cross of Glory is super excited to be able to reach out into the community AGAIN and be a host for a new chapter of PFLAG Homer Glen Lockport.

PFLAG is a nationwide organization that envisions a world where diversity is celebrated and all people are respected, valued, and affirmed inclusive of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.

Our mission is to build on a foundation of loving families united with LGBTQ people and allies who support one another, and to educate ourselves and our communities to speak up as advocates until all hearts and minds respect, value and affirm LGBTQ people.

PFLAG has over 400+ chapters and now Cross of Glory hosts one of them! Thank you Cross of Glory!

We meet via Zoom on the last Tuesday of the month. Our next meeting is on April 27, 2021.

PFLAG Organizing Group Meets Tuesday, May 28

PFLAG is a national support and advocacy group that unites LGBTQ people with families, friends, and allies.

Some of our members noticed the need for a local PFLAG chapter in this area, so our new PFLAG group meets on the last Tuesday of every month from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. We had our inaugural organizing meeting on Tuesday, April 30th at Cross of Glory.

We will continue to organize this month.

Please share this information with anyone you know who may be interested, and contact Michelle Eckmayer if you have any questions.
