On Sunday, September 10th, we began our fall sermon series on the Sermon on the Mount with a look at the beatitudes – where Jesus describes those who are blessed in God’s Kingdom.
On Sunday, September 3rd, Dan Murtaugh gave a message that related the Book of Proverbs to the songs of the Grateful Dead.
On Sunday, August 27th, we got a sneak peak at our sermon series for the fall — the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus’ most radical counter-cultural teaching ever. And it also just happens to be the way all Jesus’ disciples are called to live.
On Sunday, August 20th, we were outside to reaffirm our baptisms while getting a little wet. We looked at the story of Peter walking on water, and we recommitted to being Jesus’ disciples in the world.
On Sunday, August 13th, we celebrated Back to School Sunday with a message from Nathaniel Knutson about how God is with us as we head back to school, and through all the changes in our lives.
On Sunday, August 6th, we looked at “What’s in a Name: Baptism and Identity.” We’re reminded in a very tangible way that we are who God says we are, not who the world (or even we ourselves) may say.
On Sunday, July 23rd, we celebrated Christmas in July.
On Sunday, July 16th, we heard about this year’s VBS. Internet connection issues resulted in a lower quality stream (using a phone) just to Facebook.
On Sunday, July 9th, we heard about the importance of forgiveness, even when it is difficult for us to forgive. We also did our annual Pet Blessing!
