Join us in a Parade! June 27th and/or 28th!
It’s the parade time of year!!
On June 27th at 10:00 am, Homer Township will host a community parade. CoG is part of THIS community, so what do ya say we grab the kids, decorate wagons, bikes, scooters, and be part of this parade!! There is a signup sheet in the Welcome Room! Please let Alicia know if you are interested so that we have enough time to reserve a spot!!
Cross of Glory will again be part of the Chicago Coalition of Welcoming Churches marching in this year’s Chicago Pride Parade on June 28th. A sign-up sheet is in the Welcome Room for anyone interested in participating in the parade. If you have questions or would like further details, please see Dan Skowron.

Teens enjoy the Zip Line at LOMC on May 9th

It was a wonderful day in Oregon, IL as 17 of Cross of Glory teens went to LOMC! The kids played games, hiked, ate, prayed and rode the Zip Line. What a great group of teens. Each one of them is such a blessing to our church!

Kids made crosses in Kids Klub on Palm Sunday
Kids Klub is a great time during service where the kids get to hear a message that is age appropriate. Kids love this time. Sometimes they sing songs or do a craft along with the day’s story. On Palm Sunday the craft included making a cross out of a palm. A few wanted to stayed longer to make sure their cross was finished.
Kids Klub is run by some really great volunteers! A huge shout out to all of them! They take such wonderful care of our children at Cross of Glory!

The Hunt was EGGtremely Successful
There were so many eggs and so many people! It was fabulous. Since it was cold and muddy we had to have the Easter Egg Hunt in doors this year and no one seemed to mind. We want to thank all those who helped that day and the days before. We want to thank all those who made donations. We could not have done it without you. What a huge success!!
