So the Lord gave Israel all the land he had sworn to give their ancestors, and they took possession of it and settled there. The Lord gave them rest on every side, just as he had sworn to their ancestors. Not one of their enemies withstood them; the Lord gave all their enemies into their hands. Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.

Joshua 21:43-45

God keeps God’s promises.  All of them.  In God’s own time and according to God’s own plan, every promise of God is true.

Christmas is coming, whether we describe ourselves as ready or not.

Looking forward and back, take a few minutes to look through your address book or contact list, pausing to think about and pray for the people.  Now is time to write and send Christmas cards – you can even send photo cards if you order them online today!  Make a list today, and write a few each day all week.

With kids:  Show them how to fold paper and cut out snowflakes – any grandparent would love to receive one in a Christmas card.  Display a few in windows.  Remind children that people are like snowflakes.  They are all the same (all snowflakes have six sides), yet they are all wonderfully unique.  (if you need a refresher course, go to www.marthastewart.com/276331/how-to-make-papersnowflakes)
