Week 1 – February 17
On Sunday, February 17th, we kicked off our Embracing God’s Vision capital appeal with an introduction by Jeff Warner and a second bulletin insert (Kick-Off Sunday).

Kick-Off Video: In the video below, Jeff Warner explained that the goal is to raise $150,000 over the next three years to help pay down our mortgage and make sure this building, a valuable resource for ministry and mission, remains safe, welcoming and in good working order. But the theme encompasses much more than money. It is our response to all the blessings we have received from God and our commitment to live as God’s missional church in this place.
Our Prayer for Week 1:
Good and Gracious God, we praise You for all of the blessings we currently have and continue to receive. As we prepare to focus on the Capital Campaign, we ask for Your guidance, grace and concentration. Loving Father, bless us with generous hearts so that we can all be united with the mission of our church as our goal.
We ask all of this in your Heavenly name, Amen.
Week 2 – February 24
On Sunday, February 24th, we continued our Embracing God’s Vision capital appeal with a brief presentation by Barb Corcoran and a third bulletin insert (Our Need to Give): Click Here to Read Bulletin Insert #3.
Member Video: In the video below, Barb Corcoran explained the importance of maintaining our building so that we can continue and expand our service to the community.
Our Prayer for Week 2:
Good and Generous God, we know that all we are, and all we have, comes from you. As we reflect on our capital appeal, help us to see your many blessings to us as opportunities to bless others, and to participate in your work in this world. Remind us that that our ministries here at Cross of Glory are important reflections of your love for all your children.
All this we ask in the name of your Son, your most precious gift of all. Amen.
